The L1S prints letter bodies up to 130 mm deep in up to three colours, at a recommended speed of up to 300 mm/s, with a filament drier and 240-point automatic levelling. It takes CDR, DXF or STL files, on the 800 × 800 mm or the 1200 × 1200 mm bed.

HFPC is the letter filament for the SG-S range: a modified polycarbonate and PETG blend, rated from −40 °C to 65 °C and resistant to UV and oxidation. The L1S comes with a filament drier.

Questions about the L1S
L1S or L1S PRO?
The SG-S 3D L1S PRO is the L1S's Pro version: it adds UV curing. The catalogue pictures it on a closed cabinet, 1530 mm tall against 740 mm, with an integrated filament drier, and gives it the same returns, colours, recommended speed and file formats as the L1S.
L1S or L2S?
The catalogue gives both the same returns, beds, recommended speed and file formats. The SG-S 3D L2S prints four colours in one print; the L1S prints three.
ULTRA or L1S?
The L1S prints deeper returns (130 mm against 100 mm), has a faster recommended speed (up to 300 mm/s against 120 mm/s), a filament drier and 240-point automatic levelling, and also takes STL files. If your letters are rarely deeper than 100 mm, the SG-S 3D ULTRA, our entry machine, does the job for less.
Can it run overnight?
Yes. It is built to run unattended. If the power drops it carries on where it left off, and it detects a broken filament.
Will it fit through my door?
With the 800 bed it is packed at 1380 × 1390 × 870 mm, and with the 1200 bed at 1830 × 1780 × 870 mm. Send us a photo of your doorway and we'll check.
